boys don’t bake

this blog is nothing more than an online platform for me to share my thoughts on growing up as a boy according to societal standards. being told what boys don’t do, and what ain’t real man shit. what its like to be a boy who grew up to be a man doing all the things i was told i wasn’t supposed to do as a kid. to create a platform for all my homies to share stories of childhood expectations that were shelved by reality, and exploration of self. what began as a joke morphed into my reality, and has helped to curate the person i am today. the father. the partner. the man. well, not the man, but rather a man. i’ll share essays, stories, interviews, and whatever else fits in one of the many tote bags i own. i’m not some educated writer by any means, but i feel i have put my 10k hours in a few times at this point. with that being said, i hope you enjoy, and thank you in advance. as always.
